Rapide is one of Aston Martin's more affordable cars. It maintains the unique front, side and rear design typical of Aston Martin models. The 4 four swan
wing doors are designed to open comfortably without sticking out in the street. Bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED side lights are expertly fitted in
with the car's streamlined design. The seats are electronically operated making it easy to adjust them. Memory based front seats adds to the comfort level
provided by the premium level grain leather seats.
Rapide's V12 petrol engine has a capacity of 5935ccand generates 470bhp with 600Nm torque. The six speed automatic transmission
distributes power effectively and gives a smooth acceleration. The electronic shift-by-wire control system also helps with enhanced transmission.
The car uses a Bang & Olufsen Beo Sound audio system. It supports all phones and music players. There is also an Apple connector for their products.
The rear seats have an entertainment system with a DVD player and a wireless headset. Dual cast brakes with piston calipers on both the rear and front
wheels provide sufficient stopping power. Dynamic Stability Control, Anti-lock braking system and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution helps handle the car
better. It also has effective parking sensors.
Similar car are Bentley Mulsanne and Ferrari FF, but the main advantage of Aston Martin Rapide over them is better mileage.
There is only one variant of Aston Martin Rapide.
