Audi A3 is one of Audi's most affordable sedans. It sports the usual style of Audi and yet maintains its own distinctiveness. The front has a hexagonal
fashioned radiator grille with a glossy black mesh. The Audi A3 has smooth fluid scanning LED lights. The rear design has evolved to include cluster LED
tail lamps. The front bumper is designed with air ducts and fitted with a chin guard that adds to the A3's distinctiveness. The interiors are spacious. The
dashboard has been redesigned, getting rid of clutter and opting for a simple design.
The petrol engine is based on a DOHC valve configuration that comes with 4 cylinders and 16 valves. It produces 177bhp in power and torque of 250Nm. This
is along with a 7-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission gearbox. The diesel variant has a turbocharged engine that generates a maximum power of 143bhp and
torque of 320Nm. An advanced six speed dual clutch automatic transmission is coupled with the diesel engine.
The infotainment system can be accessed through a 7-inch screen that pops up from the dashboard. Along with the audio system, navigation and Bluetooth, it
even has an SD car reader. The circular AC vents help disperse the air in the cabin more effectively. Energy regeneration ESP, anti-slip regulation and
traction control ensures safe driving.
Mercedes Benz A Class and BWM 3 Series are close competitors, but fail to match up to the fuel efficiency offered by Audi A3.
