Our Verdict
The Audi A3 first made its presence felt in 2010, being showcased in different Auto Shows as being the first diesel engine Audi. And following its positive response, Audi later added the diesel versions to its A6, A7, and A8 sedans. The Audi A3 is a prudent, fuel-efficient car. But on the other hand, even though it is attractive, auto enthusiasts’ feel there is a vitality missing from its performance which is unlike for an Audi car. But the automaker, wanted to introduce a premium, compact, entry level, low cost, diesel car so as to appeal to the youth and the newly redesigned A3 may appeal to a wider segment.
