About BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GTC
Bentley Continental GTC is the convertible version of Continental GT. The soft roof comes from Karmann, a world-renowned auto parts manufacturer in Germany. The solid car frame has large headlights that complement the radiator grille besides it. Bodylines stretch out from the front wheel to the rear. The cockpit has been designed ergonomically. The satin-chrome dials add a luxury feel to the car. The instrumental panel is clear, easy to read and sophisticated.
Bentley Continental GTC packs a 6.0-litre twin turbocharged W12 configured petrol engine that thumps out 567 bhp and 700 Nm. This engine goes along with 8-speed ZF transmission and a steering column mounted gearshifts.
The infotainment system has a 30GB hard disk that can store music, videos and maps. The driver's seat has as much as 14 way adjustment functions. The automatic climate control can cool the cabin in a matter of seconds. The steering wheel is wrapped in high quality leather that provides good comfort and grip.
Bentley Continental GTC has vented brakes disc on the front and rear wheels. Along with a sophisticated suspension system, the intelligent self-leveling air suspension with anti-roll bar offers a secure driving experience. Ultrasonic alarm, a GPS tracking system and airbags are just some of the safety features.
In comparison with sports cars like Ferrari 584 and Lamborghini Aventador, the Bentley Continental GTC is able to provide better mileage.
It comes in only one Petrol variant.
1. Bentley Continental GTC
What we like
- The Bentley Continental GTC is just luxury and comfort all the way.
- Driving dynamics, handling, ride quality and performance is superlative.
- As a convertible, it is definitely a driver’s delight offering smooth and powered performance on roads.
- The price cut and good economy makes it a very attractive buy.
What we don't like
- The Bentley Continental GTC has very less boot space and rear seating is not good for adults.
- The kerb weight isn’t quite engaging and engine noise spills into the cabin when travelling above 50 mph.
- Ride quality isn’t as great and mileage and fuel economy is poor.
The Bentley Continental GTC when it was first introduced in the global market was a charmer of sorts, enamoring all because it was majestic-looking, neatly crafted car both in its exterior and interiors. Looks-wise, it is very catchy and great to drive and it is referred to as a Grand Tourer of sorts. In the Indian auto market, the Bentley Continental GTC convertible has no immediate competitors. The car makes for a great buy because of its sheer on-road presence that reflects in its looks and performance. Yes. The latest convertible, Continental GTC sports the Bentley charm but is a league ahead in all facets.
