As per reports, Honda has already started work on the 2018 Amaze and the car could be launched anytime next year. Going by available reports, the 2018 Amaze may offer more room for customers since it is expected to be wider than the present model. This will translate into higher cabin space and legroom. The design of the new Amaze may be sleeker and more like the design theme followed for new global models from Honda. These include the 2018 Accord and the Odyssey.
The 2017 Honda City may also serve as inspiration for the sharper front fascia of the 2018 Honda Amaze. Honda may look to glam up the Amaze a little more. The Privilege Edition of the Amaze was launched this July and the top-end trims of the second generation model may take a cue from the same.

The 2018 Amaze may get the Digipad 7-inch touch screen infotainment system for higher variants along with features like automatic climate control, LED stop lamps and LED daytime running lights. The same platform will be used for the new car and it is expected to retain the i-DTEC 1.5 litre diesel and i-VTEC 1.2 litre petrol engines as well. There will be the CVT option available for the petrol version like the current model. Overall, the new Amaze is expected to be plusher in comparison to the current generation.
