Pre-bookings have unofficially commenced for the 2018 Hyundai Creta across company dealerships as per reports. The new Creta will get a new hexagonal radiator grille which is larger and there will be a chrome border bridging the headlamps. There will be a redesigned bumper in front along with new fog lamp housing. The new Creta will also get double spoke 17-inch alloy wheels which will be taken from the Hyundai Creta Sport.
The rear will have revamped tail lamps along with a redesigned bumper. The 2018 Hyundai Creta will also get a sunroof according to reports. The same petrol 1.6 litre 123 PS and 128 PS 1.6 litre diesel engines will be retained for the new Creta SUV while the 90 PS 1.4 litre diesel engine will also be retained.
The manual 6-speed transmission system will continue to be a standard feature and there will be an automatic 6-speed transmission unit available for the 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines. The new Creta is expected to come with a starting price of Rs. 9.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards according to estimates. The current model has a starting price of Rs. 9.29 lakhs (ex-showroom).
