The 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 may be shown at the Auto Expo in February next year. Hyundai India is working on a facelifted version of the Elite i20 that has been spotted testing in the country. This mid life facelift will see the Elite i20 getting a new hexagonal single-frame grille along with upgraded headlights and front bumper. The grille may be quite similar to the one used in the Hyundai Xcent.
Additionally, there may be integrated LED daytime running lights for the headlight cluster in tandem with brand new fog lamps. There may be a new design for the alloy wheels and the rear bumper as well. A few feature additions are also expected inside. The same 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre petrol engines may be carried over to the 2018 Elite i20 along with the 1.4 litre diesel engine option.
There will be the same 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options for the petrol mill while the diesel engine will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission unit as per reports.
