The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been launched in the Indian market and will also be shown at the Geneva Motor Show this year. The car is priced at Rs. 27,493,000 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market and there is a 4.0 litre 6-cylinder petrol engine that dishes out 520 PS and 470 Nm. There is an increase of 10 Nm and 20 PS of torque and power respectively. The engine is paired to a PDK dual-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission unit.

There are ZR 20 265/35 and ZR 21 325/30 tyres at the front and rear respectively along with magnesium wheels which are also available for the Weissach package (optional) for reduced weight. There are carbon components included in this package for the chassis, interior and exterior. There are new headlights along with improved cooling and aerodynamics in tandem with side air vents, a new front splitter and solid rear wing. The rear bumper is also all-new while there is also a redesigned hood with air vents.
The car touches 100 kilometres per hour in only 3.2 seconds. The top speed stands at 312 kilometres per hour. Porsche will be commencing deliveries in April for Germany while the Indian delivery dates have not been announced yet.
