Aston Martin has officially displayed the brand new 2019 Vantage model. The beautifully designed Vantage gets a V8 four litre engine created by AMG which comes with special tuning from Aston Martin and this ensures that performance is backed by the right sound! There is an eight-speed automatic transmission unit on offer which is rear-mounted for superior distribution of weight. Aston Martin has stated that the gearbox has been worked on for offering seamless shifting while cruising along with ensuring crisper and shorter gear changes. This is the first Aston Martin model to come with the torque vectoring e-differential feature. The model is lighter now and comes with 50:50 as the front and rear distribution ratio.
Matt Becker, head of vehicle tuning at Aston Martin, has stated that the roll per lateral G has come down majorly from the previous Vantage model due to the use of the electronic chassis system. This ensures better handling and there are Pirelli tyres with Y-spoke 20-inch silver alloy wheels. There are ventilated two-piece steel brakes that have 400 mm discs.
Aston Martin has stated that the car is inspired by the Vulcan which is a track-focused model. However, there are a few design touches inspired by the DB11. The 2019 Vantage gets an aggressively sloping hood and a bigger grille with sleek LED headlamps and a huge front fascia overall. There are slim taillights which wrap around the rear and the car looks absolutely chiseled and stunning. The waerfall console makes way for a more attractive triangular cluster. There is an optional carbon fiber and full leather trim.
