In a stellar show of sorts, the brand new 2018 Audi Q5 has managed to garner a whopping 500 bookings in India within only a month of its launch. The Audi Q5 was launched in its latest avatar back on the 18th of January this year.
There is the Premium Plus grade which is priced at Rs. 53.25 lakhs (ex-showroom) and comes with full-LED headlights, LED rear lights, dynamic design 18-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels, electrically adjustable front seats, auto-folding ORVMs, 3-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and leather/leatherette upholstery. This grade also gets Aluminum Rhombus inlays, MMI radio, an interior lighting package and infotainment system without navigation.
There is also the Technology grade which is priced at Rs. 57.60 lakhs (ex-showroom) and gets features like auto-folding and heated ORVMs with memory functions, 18-inch 5-arm alloy wheels, MMI Navigation Plus, adaptive suspension with damping control, MMI Tough infotainment unit, memory package for the driver’s side, Audi virtual cockpit, wireless charging and Audi Phone Box and Walnut velvet brown inlays.
India only gets the 35 TDI version of the car and this has the 190 hp 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine that also churns out 400 Nm of peak torque. While Quattro AWD is standard, there is also the dual-clutch 7-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission unit.
