Recently, BMW has taken the wraps off of the all-new BMW 5 Series and now we finally have more insights into the 7th Generation 5 Series model. To start things off, the 7th Generation of the 5 Series has become sleeker; it weighs 62kgs lesser than its predecessor. This is achievable due to the use of aluminium, high strength steel and magnesium.
Momentous overhaul is not visible especially on the looks front for the new-gen Beemer. Upfront, there are changes like headlamps which flow into the grille making the nose look wider. For better aerodynamics, there are active slats in the kidney grille that close when required. The air vents which house the fog lamps too receive a revision in terms of design. With muscular contours the bumper sports a new design in addition to the new central air dam. At the rear, the bumper shows off a two-tone finish and also sports a wider profile and chrome exhausts which is a standard in all models.
