BMW has been working on the X2 Concept that was previously shown in Detroit and the result is the brand new X2 which is the first model to get a characteristic design language under this template. The coupe-like low-slung look and roofline are quite attractive as well. The BMW X2 will start arriving at dealerships sometime around February-March this year globally. Prices have not been revealed as of yet. The X2 retains the same wheelbase in spite of being 20 mm shorter and 70 mm lower in comparison to the X1.
The X2 gets a slim window graphic, shorter overhangs and a new kidney grille along with hexagonal surface treatment for the bumper in tandem with a high-gloss grille in black. There is a chrome surround in tandem with horizontal design lines which flow into the high-set LEDs at the rear. These full LEDs are standard for the M Sport, Sport and M Sport X trims. The M Sport X and M Sport models come with 20-inch wheels while 19-inch wheels are a standard feature. There is black and Frozen Grey side body cladding for the SE and Sport and M Sport X models respectively. There is also the BMW roundel and hallmark Hofmeister kink for the C-pillar.

There is also a panoramic roof and the front portion slides open after tilting like a regular sunroof.
There is the four cylinder inline 2 litre engine that makes 188 BHP and 400 Nm. This engine is paired to the 8-speed automatic transmission unit coupled with xDrive all-wheel drive which is a standard feature. The new BMW X2 can hit 100 kmph in only 7.7 seconds.
