The automobile industry is always looking forward to new revelations and upgradations. With the rapid advancement in technology the car makers are bringing out new car variants very year to lure in potential buyers. Two of the most trending features in the car industry is the switch over to electric vehicles and manufacturing of car with BS VI compliant engines. The first one has already found its way into the Indian market and car manufacturers are bringing out numerous electric car models with the aim of a complete switch over to electric cars by 2030. The German car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz, offers a full range of passenger, light commercial and heavy commercial equipment since 1901. They are now set to launch the first BS VI fuel compatible car in India on January 19, 2018 which will roll out on the roads of Delhi by April 2018. This is a major shift for the company in India as they would be skipping out the BS V engines altogether and will straight away dive into manufacturing the BS VI fuel compatible cars for the Indian car market. By 2020 one can expect most of the Mercedes Benz to be compatible with the BS VI engine with the aim of bringing in cleaner fuels into India. The automobile manufacturer has already attained top spot in the car market in terms of sales figure for the year 2017 and with the launch of first cars to be compatible with BS VI fuel in India they are aiming to retain the top spot this coming year.
