Cars to Watch Out For at Auto Expo 2016

The 13th Auto Expo is all set to rollout on 5th February 2016. This time, Auto Expo will be held at Greater Noida. It is going to be the biggest Auto Expo ever, covering more than 73,000 square feet and 14 halls overflowing with new Cars, Bikes and lot more.

Chevrolet Camaro SS

This iconic muscle car doesn’t need an introduction. This car will be the center of attraction for Chevrolet in this edition of the Expo. The car will come with a massive 6.2 Liter V8 block that generates 445 horsepower.

Ford Mustang

Finally, this iconic car fondly known as the Pony car is being launched in the Auto Expo 2016. The car will come with a 5.0 Liter V8 Petrol engine that generates 420 horsepower and bucket loads of torque.

Nissan GT-R

The Godzilla is coming to India, finally. This iconic car can smoke most of the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and the Porsches! The car is believed to come with a 3.8 Liter twin-turbo V6 engine.

Jaguar XE

Jaguar will be bringing their entry level model XE, against the likes of BMW-3 Series, Merc-C Class, Audi A4 and the Volvo S60. The car will be the most affordable Jaguar you can lay hands on and this is one bloody good looking car!

BMW 7 Series

BMW will be showcasing their new 7-series lineup. This will be bigger than the present model but will be lighter. The car will come in three variants: 740 Li, 750 Li, and 730 Ld.

Audi A5

Audi has finally decided to bring in the A5 to India, and can the entry get better than in the Auto Expo. The car will be offered in the Sportback and Coupe shapes. The car will come plonked with an FSI powered petrol and TDI diesel power pots.

BMW will be unveiling the new X1 and this time, it will be a front wheel drive. The car will have more SUV accents rather than the subtle Estate silhouette of the older version. BMW will be also offering an all wheel drive option, powered by the BMW X-Drive AWD system.

Isuzu MU-X

This massive SUV from Isuzu will be replacing the aging MU7 in India. The car is based on the Isuzu D-Max platform, will come with a 3.0 Liter engine diesel engine. The car will be launched in the Ssayong Rexton league.

Honda BRV

Based on the Mobilio platform, Honda will be launching the BRV in India during the Auto Expo 2016. The car will be trying to jostle for space with the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and the Ford Ecosport.

Mercedes Benz GLC

‘C’ indicates its connection with the C-class. This SUV shares the platform with the C-class. The car looks gorgeous and is powered by both petrol and diesel engines.

Ssyanyong Tivoli

Already launched in Korea, this car will be launched under Ssaynyong badge by Mahindra in the Auto Expo. The car will be powered by the recently launched mFaclon series of Engine.

Tata Hexa

Hexa will be replacing the Aria in India. The car will come with the same Varicor 400 diesel engine spotted on the new Safari Storme, the engine may be in a different tune.

Toyota Innova

Finally, after almost a decade, Toyota will be bringing in the all new Innova to India. This ultra reliable car from Toyota in new avatar will only aid in increasing the base of Toyota fans in India. Toyota will be bringing in the car with a significantly more powerful engine than the existing ones, generating 147 bhp and 342 Nm peak torque.

Jeep Wrangler

Jeep brand will be officially announcing their arrival at the auto expo. This off-road beast will come with a 2.6 Liter 197 bhp engine with an auto-box and bucket loads of off-road features.

Polo GTi

Polo will be setting the road on fire, with the most powerful Polo ever seen on Indian roads. This TSi engine generates 189 bhp and 320 Nm torque. Surprise everyone with this sleeper car.

Hyundai i20 WRC

Wolf in sheep silhouette. This car can be passed on as a cosmetic treatment on the everyday Elite i20, but under the hood it’s a different animal. Powered by a jaw-dropping 300 bhp and 400 Nm torque, this car takes the hatchback performance to stratospheric levels.
