Honda launched the BR-V as a compact SUV model. It is quite a comfortable car to ride. It looks more like an MPV than a SUV. The restyled front face with chrome details looks slightly different when compared to its overall looks and design. Revealed at the Auto Expo in February, the BR-V has been positioned above the Honda Mobilio.
The front fascia of the Honda BR-V has got an aggressive look, while the interiors of the BR-V are quite aesthetically designed. With a fantastic boot space of 691litre, the third seat row inside the BR-V offers good space when the seats are folded further down. The Honda BR-V has a ground clearance of 210mm along with 16 inch tyres. The special thing about the BR-V is the three rows of seats which allow seating up to 7 people that is 2 more than its rivals; now whether this feature offers the BR-V an edge over its rivals need to be watched. The rear seats come with their own AC vents. The BR-V is available in both diesel and petrol models - a 1.6 litre 16 valve SOHC petrol and a 1.5 litre 16 valve DOHC diesel engine. The diesel engine is offered with only manual transmission whereas the petrol engine comes with both manual and CVT.
Honda BR-V on road price starts at INR 9.67 lakhs (Delhi) and Honda BR-V TCO is expected to be around 11 lakh for five years.
