IBB Competitor Analysis: Tata Hexa Vs Competition

Category :
Total: 2 .

Tata is back in the softroad SUV/premium MPV segment with the Hexa. Hexa by positioning and pricing falls in the segment that is dominated by three strong contenders: Mahindra's  XUV 500, Hyundai's Creta and the Toyota Innova Crysta. All these cars are pretty establised in this segment and are raking impressive volumes since their launch.

Tata Hexa

Tata will never agree, the more we get to know about the Hexa it reminds the Tata Aria. But the fact remains, Aria failed not because of the product but the suicidal pricing by the company. Ironically, pricing was always Tata’s forte. Maybe, Tata tried to push their luck or aspiration a little hard by attaching a premium tag to the Aria. Rest is ….. Aria is already history. However, it is really a commendable job the way Tata picked up where they unceremoniously exited with the Aria. Hexa, without a speck of doubt is one heck of a value for money premium UV. Hexa not only betters Aria in all aspects but creates a new standard in the UV segment. Hail the Hexa, the new Tata flagship.

Mahindra XUV 500

XUV 500 is one car that is responsible for changing the face of Mahindra brand worldwide. Mahindra brand before the launch of XUV 500 was known for their rugged and utilitarian vehicles. XUV 500 was the one car that changed the way Indian car buyer approached the Mahindra brand. Perfect combination of comfort, ruggedness, decent off-roadability and power made XUV 500 one of the largest selling car for Mahindra in India.

Hyundai Creta

Creta came and conquered the Indian market. Despite a premium pricing customers are flocking to the Hyundai showrooms to get their Creta. The car in a short time became one of the most successful model for the Korean manufacturer in India. The car gets a choice of able petrol and diesel motors.

Toyota Innova Crysta

The new Innova Crysta is a BIG-LEAP from the current Innova. While retaining the core strength of the old Innova, Toyota has pumped in more style, features and comfort to create the new king in the MPV segment. Definitely, Toyota is charging a premium for all these additions. But, trust us this car is worth every penny.
