The altered façade of the front now dons redesigned headlamps and front grille. The slimmer headlamp design is called Aero Edge Design by the manufacturer. The shape has been reformed to include the trapezoidal shape where the headlamps are more square and sharp with vivid character lines on the bonnet. Adding to the assembly

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is an important car as it’s endowed with carrying the legacy of two relevant cars in the history of Maruti which have been the bread and butter of the manufacturer for the past 30 years – Maruti 800 and Maruti Alto. The 800 was presented to the market 26 years ago and the Alto about 9 years ago. The alliance of the two were received with great zeal and set out to be true to the saying, "India on wheels".

A combination of these two pertinent vehicles was presented with a perfect blend. The Alto 800 has a futuristic design, it’s lightweight and has up-to-date comfort and safety features and these aspects are what give this car its definition and also the appeal it has in the mass market. The facelift version carries better design and style amongst the many other features. The require criteria and expectation of the target group are met with this car. A merger of all the above points proves this car would continue to be the bestselling car in India.
