Ford India has responded to customer expectations from the premium Endeavour SUV by adding the new panoramic and electric sunroof to the 2.2 litre 4X2 AT Titanium model. No other cosmetic or mechanical changes have been made to this version of the SUV. The other two variants of the Endeavour also remain the same. This model is priced at INR 29.57 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the introduction of the new sunroof will definitely make it more attractive to customers.

According to Vinay Raina, the executive director of marketing, sales and service at Ford India, the Endeavour has won several awards in this market category and the introduction of this new sunroof for the 2.2 litre version is reflective of Ford’s commitment towards exceeding customer desires. The model uses the four cylinder TDCi diesel 2.2 litre engine that makes 158 BHP and 385 Nm. There is also an automatic 6-speed torque-converter transmission unit which is mated to this engine as standard. Front-wheel drive is also available while ARAI certified fuel economy figures stand at 12.62 kmpl. The top-end Endeavour variant also has the panoramic sunroof and the same 6-speed automatic transmission unit along with the 3.2 litre Duratorq 5-cylinder TDCi diesel engine.
The new Endeavour was launched in the year 2016 and competes with the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu MU-X. The new Endeavour gets LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps, flexible seating, 30 interior storage zones, chrome grille, multiple power outlets and boot space up to 2, 010 litres. There is an 8-inch touch screen infotainment unit complete with Ford’s SYNC 3 connectivity setup and voice commands.
