A Quick 4 Points to Capture Everything You Need To Know About This Beast

1. Lay Eyes on the Outline of This Beauty

Built for sheer speed, the GT-R features the most slender of details and kept things pointing in the direction of aerodynamics. Although, the front look of the vehicle isn’t the most striking in terms of design, at least in the world of supercars, the GT-R makes up for it with its canopy which is styled like a fighter jet, prominent alloy wheels with multi spokes and a humungous rear wing.

2. Sink Into the Tech-filled Interiors

A tech-feast is what is waiting for you on the inside! The interior is loaded with gadgets like high-tech monitoring sensors which detects even the slightest of the car’s movements. Dominating the dashboard is a huge screen through which all the functions of the car are displayed. Although in essence the vehicle is known as a 4-seater, the rear seats are best suited for shorter journeys.

3. Driving Force

Although sounds ordinary, it is powered by a 3.8L V6 engine which is backed by a highly advanced engine which has two turbocharges. This churns out a power of 542BHP and a torque of 612Nm. This system is linked to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and probably is the most effective AWD system out there! The AWD system propels the vehicle so that it can hit a 0-100kmph in under 3 seconds!

4. Rival Competitors

Similar to the international market, in India too, the Nissan will be up against the Porsche 911 series, in particular the Porsche 911 Turbo. A point to note is that, although it’s launching in India for the first time, India is not new to supercars or Indian enthusiasts. Unofficially, quite a few thrill freaks have imported the GT-R. Some GT-Rs in the country has even been tuned to a 1000BHP!

Pro tip: The GT-R has the ability to lap Nürburgring‘s famous Nordschleife circuit in 7 minutes and 8 seconds (Company claimed inputs).

With the INR 2 crores costing vehicle, the company isn’t targeting heavy sales rather it’s looking at making a foray and boosting the vehicle’s image and brand presence and thus give Nissan, the automaker a big fillip to its India operations.
