The hike in fact is not only limited to Hyundai cars. Other car brands like Nissan, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volkswagen, Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Motors, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Skoda, and Isuzu are also expected to announce the hike in price or the car variants due to an increase in input and material costs. The early announcement by Hyundai may work in their favour as more buyers are rushing to book their cars by December to bypass the payment of a hiked price.
