The 2018 Auto Expo has witnessed several exciting vehicles from Honda Cars India Limited including the brand new Amaze and Civic. The new CR-V has also been shown at the mega event. The new CR-V gets a similar design as the latest model sold in India but there are wider front fenders and flared wheel arches along with generous chrome treatment for the grille and sleek front headlights. The tail lights are L-shaped and this lends the CR-V a sophisticated look.

The interiors come with a brand new dashboard which is attractively designed and the frameless touchscreen system is another new addition. The premium materials and soft-touch plastics inside the cabin make it a more luxurious experience for users. There are comfortable and large seats in front and the CR-V gets a third seating row for the very first time here.

The same 2.4-litre petrol engine will be used for the car while there will be a diesel engine option for the very first time. This 1.6-litre diesel engine is already manufactured in the country for the export line. This Earth Dreams engine will help in keeping costs lower for Honda and may come with a 9-speed automatic gearbox as per reports. The new CR-V could launch by mid-2018 at the Indian market and prices are expected to start from Rs. 23 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) as per reports.
