The new Hyundai Verna has got off to a stellar start with more than 30, 000 bookings since its launch along with more than 10, 500 export orders and 200, 000 enquiries. Now, Hyundai hopes to take sales figures into a wider orbit with the launch of the E and EX variants of the Verna that get the 1.4 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission unit.

The much-awarded new Verna should appeal to a wider audience courtesy these new variants according to the Director, Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Limited, Rakesh Srivastava. He added that the Verna has dominated the market since launching in India and the new engine option will ensure better driving performance and fuel economy figures, which should take care of specific needs and desires of car buyers. He also hoped that the new variants of the Verna will help in taking sales volumes to another level along with increasing the overall customer reach of the brand and its popularity in India.
