The Jeep Compass has gained recognition for its off-road capability and the high reliability of performance on all road conditions. The Compass has been designed to look like a baby Grand Cherokee with influences from the Jeep Renegade.
The upgraded version of Jeep Compass will have a new exterior design with refreshing styling features like new radiator grille, signature styling hexagonal chrome rings and new Bi-Xenon HID headlamps. The interior comfort and luxury features would have new trims and superior quality upholstery. The all new petrol automatic version of the Jeep Compass is all set to be launched in Diwali in the Indian market bookings for which have started long back.
The Jeep Compass petrol comes in three trims namely Sport, Limited and Limited (O). The petrol variant is powered by a 162hp, 1.4-litre MultiAir turbo-engine. Gearbox duties are performed by a seven-speed auto. The manual variant with a six-speed manual gearbox will also be launched but later in the year.
The exteriors of the Jeep compass has been refurbished with new additional features like Bi-Xenon HID headlamps with daytime running lights and a broad front bumper with strong cladding in black at the bottom. Another new feature of this model is the radiator grill and the hexagonal rings in chrome. The car is also set to be made out of a dent resistant material with wide opening door panel and the high ground clearance with cladding at the lower side of door panel. When it comes to the rear profile the car will have new tail lamps which flows into the tailgate enhancing the sense of width, defogger, and the rear bumper with strong cladding at the bottom and chrome badging. The other design highlight is the chrome strip that runs over the window line and flows around the car, differentiating the contrasting roof from the rest of the sheet metal.

The Jeep Compass interiors has been upgraded with the addition of premium upholstery for the seats, and refined trims and finishing. The cabin is airy and spacious and has a soothing hue courtesy the all-white leather upholstery. The seat matrix will have eight-way power adjust driver and co-passenger seats and the driver seat will have lumbar support adjust for the comfort posture of the driver. The rear seat with foldable backrest for extending the luggage space. There is plenty of space inside the car with ample leg and shoulder room, thigh support and side bolstering for all passengers ensuring a comfortable side. The Jeep Compass will be loaded with 70 safety and security provisions including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist , hill start assist, 6 airbags, rollover mitigation system, adaptive brake lights, cornering lights, four-channel ABS and ESP, Panic Brake Assist, Hydraulic Booster Failure Compensation, Electronic Roll Mitigation and Electronic Brake Pre-fill.
