Lamborghini has officially launched the Urus SUV at INR 3 crore (ex-showroom, India) in the country and this comes rapidly after the global premiere. The Urus is a more practical car which can be used on the track and across difficult terrain as well. The design is itself more practical with a 5 seater and front engined layout. The Urus also uses the MLB platform which finds pride of place in luxury icons like the Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7. There is the super powerful V8 Twin Turbo 4 litre engine (the first such turbo offering from Lamborghini) for only the 2nd production SUV from the company.
This engine dishes out a monstrous 641 BHP and 850 Nm and is paired to an 8-speed torque converter complete with torque vectoring rear differential and 4WD. The Lamborghini Urus can do the 100 km/h dash in only 3.6 seconds, making it the fastest SUV in the entire world. The car has a top speed of 305 kilometres per hour and can touch 200 kilometres per only in hour 12.8 seconds. Consider its weight figures of 2.2 tonnes and then the statistics sound even more impressive! Apart from the 440 mm and 370 mm carbon ceramic brakes at the front and rear respectively, there is adaptive suspension along with 21-inch wheels. These can be increased to 23-inch alloys as well while the Urus also gets specially created tyres.

The Lamborghini Urus has a chunky mesh grille in the front coupled with sharp LED headlights and the coupe-like sloping roofline makes for a pretty sight at the back along with the raked windscreen. There are LED tail lights running all across the tailgate where the Lamborghini icon remains in the center and there is also a diffuser placed at the bottom for a sportier look.
