What is M, AGM and RS for the BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi is Polestar for Volvo. Polestar is the performance arm for the Swedish automaker Volvo. The first car to hit Indian shores with the Polestar badge is the S60 sedan. Evaluating the response Volvo may explore to launch more cars under this performance umbrella.
The S60 Polestar is powered by a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine, which is turbo-charged and supercharged to generate a peak power of 367hp and a max torque 470Nm. The power is transmitted to all four wheels by a Borg Warner Haldex all-wheel drive system and a six-speed auto gear box.
