The test mule came with a Midnight Black rear bumper and Fiery Orange body colour while the rear hatch was not pained. There was black piping going all the way to the bottom while the left window at the rear was neatly covered up. Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to pump in close to INR 4,000 crore for developing electric vehicles over a period of 3-5 years and two new electric cars will be launched by 2019. While the first one will be the KUV100 Electric, the second electric vehicle will be a monocoque-based car since Dr. Pawan Goenka has already confirmed that ladder-on-frame vehicles will not have electric versions.
