Mahindra & Mahindra has always enjoyed tremendous success in the Indian market with its XUV500 SUV. Ever since the car launched, it has always found takers for its rugged design and styling coupled with its bouquet of features and a high performing diesel engine. Now the XUV500 is due for a facelift next year and the power and torque figures are expected to be scaled up for the diesel mHawk engine.
However, Mahindra & Mahindra has now come out with a petrol version of the XUV500 which was in the works for a very long time indeed. This seems like a natural choice considering the fact that petrol powered SUVs are steadily becoming more relevant considering governmental action directed at diesel vehicles in markets like Delhi-NCR.
