The German luxury car manufacturer had a sprawling pavilion showcasing a good number of cars in the Auto Expo 2018. Following are the cars that were present in the Merc display.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GT-R
Famously known as the ‘Beast of the Green Hell’, this car was the centre of attraction at the Merc pavilion. This car is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 32-valve V8 engine that dispenses a max power of 577 hp and peak torque of 700 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz F1 W07 Hybrid
F1 W07 Hybrid is the successor of two extremely successful racing cars – the Formula One World Championship winning Silver Arrows of 2014 and 2015 in the Mercedes Benz F1 line-up. The car gets a Moulded carbon fibre and honeycomb body. The car is powered by the 1.6 liter Mercedes-Benz PU106C Hybrid engine.
Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 650
Mercedes-Benz launched their new Maybach S 650 for Rs 2.73 crore at the Auto Expo. The car is powered by a 6.0-liter biturbo V-12 petrol motor that generates a maximum power of 621 hp and peak torque of 1000 Nm. The showcased car came with Designo Alanite Grey Magno paint finish. It is a gorgeous matte paint finish that can sparkle with a dull matte look on the top.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain
Can be termed as the luxury utility variant of the popular E-Class. The car is based on an altogether new platform and will be available only in the 220d trim. The car gets extra-all terrain driving mode, AWD system, AIRMATIC air suspension and air body control.
Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ
Concept EQ hints at the future electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. Here at Auto Expo, they showcased their EQ SUV. It is driven by two electric motors powering the front and the rear. The total power generated by the motors is around 400 hp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The car has a futuristic design with some interesting tech and design elements.
Mercedes-Benz 2017 GLS 350d 4Matic
Mercedes-Benz showcased their GLS 4Matic at the Auto-Expo. The new GLS gets an automatic electrically foldable middle seat now. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter diesel motor that generates a max power of 255 hp and peak torque of 620 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz AMG SLC 43
This open two-seater roadster from Mercedes-Benz was also showcased at this year Auto Expo. This AMG powered car is motivated by a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 4 Matic
This car is powered by a V6 3.0-liter biturbo engine and can catapult this car to 100 kmph from rest in just 4.9 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet C 300
It is the most affordable convertible from Mercedes-Benz in India. The C 300 has a four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine that generates 245 hp and 370 Nm. The car is priced at Rs 63 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai)
A red C-250 was also showcased at this year Auto Expo. This car competes against the likes of BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 in the Indian car market.
Mercedes-Benz GLA 220d 4Matic
Mercedes-Benz also showcased their baby SUV from their existing line-up in India. The car is based on the A-class platform and also gets as the name indicates Mercedes Benz’s proprietary 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
Mercedes-Benz E350d LWB
The Mercedes-Benz E350d LWB was also present at the Mercedes-Benz stall. The new E-Class gets a long wheelbase with more emphasis on rear seat comfort.
