Mercedes-Benz India has launched its Mobilo Assistance Service for Indian customers. The company will offer smoother ownership experiences for buyers with its Mobilo Plus and Mobilo Lite segments. The Mobilo Lite service is complimentary for a total period of 365 days across authorized company dealerships and will remain valid for a year from the last periodic service date. However, this will only be possible for buyers who service their cars at least once annually from authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships. The Mobilo Plus plan will have complimentary services for up to 3 years and will come into effect between the vehicle’s 4th and 8th years. The pricing for this plan can be as low as Rs. 3, 000 depending on the Mercedes-Benz model in question.

According to the CEO & Managing Director at Mercedes-Benz India, Roland Folger, there is a need for easier ownership experiences and innovative mobility solutions which Mercedes-Benz ensures. The unique after-sales offerings from the brand reiterate its commitment towards ensuring the best ownership experiences. He also stated that Mercedes Benz still remains a favourite brand for car buyers in India. The Mobilo Plus service will also cover aspects like battery problems, accidental, mechanical and electrical breakdowns, tyre punctures, immobilized cars due to road accidents, contaminated or incorrect fuel, locked or lost keys and even towing, roadside repairs and complimentary taxi services for customers up to a distance of 50 kilometres from the breakdown location.
Customers will get flight and hotel facilities for a maximum of three nights while on the move. They will also get legal support in tandem with medical guidance. Replacement vehicles will also be provided in case of mechanical or electrical breakdowns.
