Auto Expo 2018 is around the corner. India’s biggest automobile exhibition is scheduled on 9-14, February 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It’s a perfect time and venue for the auto-manufacturers to showcase their new offerings.

New Maruti Swift

New version of the massively popular Swift will be the major attraction at the Maruti Suzuki stall. The new car is built on a new light weight platform and will come with new set of engines.

Tata Tiago EV

The debut car from Hyundai, is expected to come in an altogether new avatar. Expect it to come with a totally new design and engines will range from 800 cc to 1.2 liter capacities.

With the thrust and focus on EVs in the Indian market, Tata is expected to lunch their Tiago EV in the Auto Expo.

Tata’s premium hatchback code named X451, will be the first car built on Tata Motors’ Advanced Modular Platform (AMP). AMP will be the base platform for the future Tata cars. The car will be positioned against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20.

Honda will be unveiling their 10th generation Accord in the Auto Expo 2018. The car will come with a crisper and futuristic design than the exisiting model. The 209 hp/315 Nm hybrid power train is expected to continue to power the new Accord.

The new CR-V is expected in the Auto Expo. The car will come with a new design theme and this time will come with a diesel power pot and a hybrid petrol option.

Hyundai Compact Sub-4m SUV

Hyundai will join the highly competitive sub-4m SUV segment. The car will be based on their Carlino concept. The car shares the platform with the Active i20 and will have a 1.2 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engine options.

India’spopular SUV maker, Mahindra will be launching their premium SUV in the Auto Expo 2018. The car which will be positioned above the Xylo, will be competing with the Innova and Tata Hexa.

Maruti is expected to launch their revamped Ertiga. The new Ertiga will have a fresh design and will be more spacious, lighter and more fuel-efficient than the present model.

The new X3 is expected to be unveiled in the Auto Expo 2018. The car will come with a range of new powertrains and trim options.

Ford Figo/ Aspire facelift is expected in the new Auto Expo 2018. The car will get some cosmetic treatment in the outside as well as inside. Ford will also plonk in the new 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine from their new Dragon series in the Figo/Aspire.

The revamped Dacia Duster that debuted at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show is expected to be introduced to Indian public in the Auto Expo 2018.
