Honda is reportedly looking to officially debut the 2018 Amaze at the upcoming Auto Expo in February. The Amaze has been a popular compact sedan in the country and the facelifted version in 2016 did manage to garner decent sales. However, the 2018 version will be a better bet for taking on the hot-selling market leader Maruti Suzuki Dzire and other rivals like the Ford Aspire and Hyundai Xcent.

The 2018 Amaze will get an extensive redesign for the front fascia and this may be heavily inspired by the new Honda City. This will surely get enthusiasts excited and there will be neatly redesigned interiors as well. The touch screen infotainment unit (still missing in the Amaze) will finally be integrated as per reports along with new safety features as well. The 2018 Amaze will be a more premium version of the compact sedan when it launches in India and prices could hover between Rs. 5.5-9.1 lakhs (ex-showroom) as per reports.
