There has been immense speculation surrounding the facelifted Hyundai i20. Reports state that the car may be unveiled officially at the 2018 Auto Expo which will be held in February next year. The facelifted Hyundai i20 has also been spotted testing on Indian roads and this has sparked huge interest among fans of the brand and enthusiasts.
The revamped Hyundai i20 may get several exterior and interior changes although there will be no mechanical changes to the car. The i20 will take on rivals like the Honda Jazz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the Indian market along with the upcoming X451 hatchback from Tata Motors. The latest design from Hyundai will be showcased by the 2018 Hyundai i20 and it will be largely similar to the design sported by the facelifted Xcent and newly launched Verna.
There may be a bigger Cascade single-piece grille in front and minor design changes for the headlamps of the car. There will be a new look for the bumper as well.

The i20 is also expected to get new alloy wheels and tailgate tweaks at the rear in tandem with brand new tail lamps complete with LED inserts. These are expected to be similar to the new Verna.
The infotainment system may be upgraded while several interior components may be shared with the new Verna as well. The same 1.2 litre petrol (MT-only), 1.4 litre petrol (AT-only) and 1.4 litre diesel (MT-only) engines are likely to continue for the 2018 Hyundai i20. An official unveiling at the 2018 Auto Expo may pave the way for a market launch sometime later in the year.
