Hyundai is a company offering some really cool cars. It has kick-started with the new N performance division that the company has set up with the launch of the Veloster N. The new car is on show at the Detroit motor show. It is the alternative to the i30N and uses the same turbocharged 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The car produces up to 275 hp and 353 Nm of torque. The i30N uses a conventional layout with five doors and has been recently launched in Europe. The Veloster has the same unorthodox asymmetrical four-door body. There are two doors on the passenger side and there is one door on the driver side.

A similar class of performance features is added to the Hyundai N division. There are more aggressive bumpers installed in the car. The car's performance can be signalled with the help of the roof-mounted rear wing. The Veloster N has been equipped with the same electronic suspension system like the i30N. The car features an ultra-aggressive N mode for track driving. The system would reduce body roll and add composure during the hard driving. The car has a front-wheel-drive which is benefitted with a limited slip differential to improve the traction of the car. The characteristics of the powertrain can be altered with the different drive modes like the Sport, N, Normal and Eco.
The latest model of the car also includes a Turbo model which would be somewhere between the regular range and the top model. The Turbo would offer a 1.6-litre engine with 204 hp and a 264 Nm of torque. There is a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine offering 149 hp of power being offered on the regular variant. The company would not be introducing the i30N variant in the US as it is quite similar to the Veloster N. There is no confirmation of the car coming to India.
