The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 facelift is eagerly awaited by SUV lovers and new images of the same have now been seen online ahead of the expected launch in early 2018. These images majorly showcase the rear section of the new XUV500. There are subtle changes with the tailgate being slightly revamped and the number plate zone has been slightly tweaked as well. The tail lamps are almost identical to the present XUV500 model and so are the dual exhaust pipes and reflector units mounted on the bumper.
The front fascia of the facelifted Mahindra XUV500 may get a redesigned grille and nose complete with revamped bumpers. There may be a new 10-spoke design theme for the alloy wheels. The facelifted 2018 XUV500 may also come with a 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 170 hp and 400 Nm. The petrol engine variant that makes 140 BHP and 330 Nm is expected to be retained for the facelifted 2018 XUV500.
Mahindra & Mahindra is reportedly planning to launch the facelifted XUV500 in early 2018 and this launch may take place at the 2018 Auto Expo itself which starts on the 7th of February.
