Ola has already emphasized on the share feature integrated within the app for countering the growing pollution levels in Delhi-NCR. According to reports, a range close to 150 kilometres may be present for the Tata Nano Electric and this car will only come in white. The technology used for the Tata Nano Electric will be quite similar to the upcoming Tata Tigor Electric, which will be provided to EESL as well.
This technology has been jointly developed by the Tata Motors team in the United Kingdom and the Jaguar Land Rover sister brand. The platform used will be the one used by the regular Nano.
Ola has also entered into a tie-up with Mahindra & Mahindra for providing the Mahindra e2o Plus in Nagpur. This is a pilot project that will kick off with a fleet of 200 cars which will include 100 of these Mahindra e2o Plus electric vehicles.
