The LWB SV Autobiography model of the Range Rover has been officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show. This premium version of the SUV is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2018 as per reports. The SV Autobiography LWB makes use of the 3,120 mm wheelbase of the Range Rover to offer enhanced legroom at the rear along with 40 degree reclining seats. The deep foam seating comes backed with the hot stone massage feature and there are heated footrests and calf functions as well.
Doors can be opened and closed by touching a button. There is a rear table that can be deployed along with the integrated 10-inch touch screen system with 4G connectivity and Wi-Fi functions. There is an optional refrigerator that can be installed between the two passengers at the rear and this will be able to hold four bottles of 600 ml or two wine bottles. According to the design chief at Land Rover, Gerry McGovern, the SVA Autobiography symbolizes comfort, luxury and refinement.

The boot space of the car can be increased by folding the rear seat on the right. There is a power veneer load space floor in the boot to help with easier unloading and loading. There is the Touch Pro Duo infotainment unit which comes with twin-touch screen controls and this enables swiping of information from one screen to another. There is the supercharged 565 hp 5 litre V8 engine that comes from the SVR and also with the SV Autobiography Dynamic which gets this unit as well. There is also a four cylinder turbocharged 2.0 litre engine that is coupled with an electric motor to make 403 hp. There is also the diesel SDV8 4.4 litre engine that dishes out 338 hp.

The new model will be hand crafted by employees of the Warwickshire based Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre of Land Rover. There will be a supremely high customization level and this model may come to India next year itself. The pre-facelift model is presently sold between Rs. 2.59-4.62 crore (on-road, Delhi) in the Indian market.
