At last, the two-door Range rover CV Coupe has been confirmed by Land Rover. About 999 units of the car would be produced. The car is arriving in the 70th year of the company and would actually be paying tribute to the original two-door Range Rover that had been created back in 1970. Only a single image of the interior of the car has been revealed, showing the four-seat layout inside the car. The front and rear seats can be seen that has been trimmed in leather of different colors. The dashboard of the model is quite similar to the regular car. The transmission tunnel has been raised into the rear of the interior and takes the place of the middle seat.
Though the car has not yet been revealed, the SV Coupe would be mixing the designs of a regular car with some bespoke features. The chief design officer of the company Gerry McGovern has said that the car would be setting high standards as it would have highly compelling designs and have peerless refinement with uncompromised satisfaction. there would be breathtaking exterior proportions and a beautifully designed interior. The car is likely to be powered by one of the best engines offered by the Range Rover models. The supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that produces as much as 565 hp would be featuring the car.
The customer cars would be produced by the Special Vehicle Operations. Though no pricing has yet been announced, the new model is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 1.79 crores. The car would be the only two-door luxurious SUV on sale. There are other such cars in the segment as well. The Land Rover offers the Range Rover Evoque and the convertible models as well. A two-door Range Stormer concept had also been produced as a precursor to the Range Rover Sport.
