Tata has now confirmed at the last moment that it would be bringing the Tamo Racemo sportscar to the show. Just a few days are left for the Auto Expo 2018 and it would be the star exhibit in the Performance Zone from the brand. The car is one of a kind and would certainly make heads turn. The car boasts of a 190 hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and had been first unveiled at the 2017 Geneva motor show.

The car has two seats and is a mid-engined sports coupe. The Racemo had also bagged the German Design Award in the Gold Category. The award was for International Excellence in producing an 'Exceptional Product Design'. The award was presented in October last year.
Tata would also be displaying the sportier versions of the Tigor sedan and the Tiago hatchback at the Tata Performance Zone. Tata had tied up with Jayem Automotives last year and this was a move to make its existing models more exciting and performance based. The first models to be produced, which are branded under JT Special Vehicles Private Limited, are the Tigor Sport and the Tiago Sport. Both of them will be displayed at the Auto Expo. The designs of the new performance models have already been teased. They are based on the new Impact Design philosophy of the manufacturer.The cars not only feature a sporty body kit but also get lowered and revised suspension setups.
