The 2018 Auto Expo will have several new models being displayed by Tata Motors. There may be the all new electric Tigor which is being sold to government organizations by Tata Motors and also the Tiago Sport. There will also be the Tamo Racemo as per reports. However, Tata Motors is also planning to showcase a new LCV (light commercial vehicle) at the 2018 Auto Expo according to the latest reports. Tata Motors already dominates this segment in India with its bestselling Ace and this new launch will only help it consolidate its leadership.
There will also be the X451 premium hatchback which is expected to be produced sometime this year. This premium hatchback will come with several features and an edgy design. It will go up against rivals like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Honda Jazz in the Indian market. This could be labelled as the Impact Design 2.0 Study by Tata Motors. The Advanced Modular Platform (AMP) from Tata Motors has been used for the very first time in the X451 and could make its way into several new models in the future. The 1.2 litre turbo petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines from the Tata Nexon may be used for this premium hatchback according to reports.

Tata Motors will also display the H5 SUV at the 2018 Auto Expo which will be a major rival for the likes of the Jeep Compass. This will reportedly have the Land Rover Discovery Sport’s L550 platform and should come loaded with premium equipment. There could be the same 2.0 litre diesel engine used in the Compass for this car which Tata Motors plans to source from FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). The H5 is expected to offer both 5 and 7 seater layouts.
