Tata Motors has tasted reasonable success with its Hexa SUV which came in as a replacement for the Aria which failed to set sales charts on fire. The Hexa is a greatly improved SUV and Tata Motors is hoping to scale up sales volumes even further with a limited edition model. This is called the Hexa Downtown edition and is priced at INR 12.18 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Hexa Downtown edition model will come in Indulge and Absolute grades.
The Tata Hexa competes with the likes of the Mahindra XUV500 and the Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian market and Tata Motors is hoping to attract more SUV fans with this new limited edition model. The new Downtown edition model will come with 15 new features although there are no mechanical changes for the car. The biggest attraction, of course, is the brand-new Urban Bronze shade and special Downtown badging for the body.

The new edition has a Chrome Pack which infuses exclusive chrome elements for beefing up the mean and rugged SUV look. The Downtown edition also offers luxurious art leather upholstery complete with seat covers in tan. There is the 10.1 inch Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) Player from Blaupunkt which is another premium touch inside.
There are other premium features like wireless charging and the LED heads-up display unit that comes with a tyre pressure monitoring system or TPMS which is the first-in-segment feature at this price point. The display unit also provides alerts on speed limits and has a battery voltage indicator for enhanced safety inside the car. There are diamond-cut R16 alloy wheels for the Hexa Downtown edition as well.
