As per the latest reports, the Tata Tigor Sport will officially debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Tigor Sport has now been teased officially by Tata Motors and the teaser image hints at new smoked projector headlamps along with red highlights for the fog lamp housing. There could be a sportier bumper along with a new grille in front. Other possible features include new alloy wheels and side skirts.
The suspension system is set to be stiffer, ensuring sportier driving experiences for buyers while ground clearance may also be lowered. The regular Tigor offers 165/170 mm of ground clearance with 13/14/15 inch wheels. The Tigor Sport comes with a turbocharged 1.2 litre three cylinder Revotron petrol mill that dishes out 110 PS and 170 Nm. This is the engine used in the Tata Nexon sub-compact SUV. There will be a 6-speed manual transmission setup for the Tigor Sport and official information relating to the powertrain has not been released yet.

The Tigor Sport is a collaboration between Jayem Automotives and Tata Motors and is likely to be priced within INR 7-8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) as per reports. The Tigor Sport may only be available for the XZ (O) top-end grade or even the XZ grade.
