Tata Tigor EV Trim Details Leaked

The trim details for the upcoming Tata Tigor EV have already been leaked as per reports and there will be three trims, namely the XT, XM and XE grades available for the car. The top-end XZ grade for the Tigor EV, which was shown at the 2018 Auto Expo, may or may not be available. The Tigor EV should get a chrome strip for the grille in front along with a LED high-mount stop lamp, split LED tail lamps, dual-tone interior color scheme, gearshift indicator, driver footrest, gear knob with chrome insert and other features as standard.

Higher grades should come with features like projector headlamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable mirrors, touchscreen infotainment unit, body coloured ORVMs, ABS with EBD and CSC, LED turn indicators, automatic climate control, rear power outlet, parking sensors, parking camera and dual-front airbags. The Tata Tigor EV comes with a 30 kW electric motor and a 215 Ah battery which can be fully charged in 6 hours. Using a fast charger can get you to 80% of charge in only 90 minutes. The driving range stands at 130 kilometres and the top speed is 100 kmph.

The Tigor EV is already being delivered in batches to EESL by Tata Motors but there is no official word on when the car will be launched for private passenger car buyers in India. Guenter Butschek, the MD at Tata Motors, had previously stated last year that the Tigor EV could launch for private car buyers if there was good demand for the product.
