The Renault Lodgy, is a dependable MVP catering to a specific section of the populace. And it is now available in a ‘World Edition’.

1. Here are a few things you should know about this MVP:
a) This is an eight-seater, available in two variants. One variant is powered by 85PS and is priced at INR 9.74 lakh and the other one is driven by 110PS and priced at INR 10.40 lakh.
b) The primary changes made to this ‘World Edition’ are solely cosmetic upgrades.

c) Mechanically, it remains the same and is unchanged.
d) Available in 4 main colour options which are fiery red, royal orchid, pearl white and moonlight silver.
2. The exterior of the World Edition Lodgy is quite unlike the standard version. It offers things like:
a) A chrome grille which is studded with jewels
b) Bumpers in body colour and come with chrome upper grille moulding
c) Fog lamps in the front are surrounded by chrome
d) Claddings for both the front and rear wheel
e) Skid plates for the front and rear
f) Jet black finish side sill
g) Roof rails in dual tones - Chrome satin finish and
h) Door side cladding in black with a chrome strip
3. In addition, the newer World Edition comes fitted with a few more goodies:
a) R15 NEPTA finished alloy wheels.
b) Side and rear decals.
c) A rear spoiler in the body colour.

4. Now that we saw the outer body details let’s get inside the cabin and have a look:
a) A dashboard which comes with centre trims, finished in chrome.

d) Foam steering wheel in a glossy black colour and comes with the 'World Edition' badge.
5. Some extras to enhance the interior experiences are:
a) A vinyl gearshift that comes with contrast stitching

c) The door handle on the inside is made of chrome too
d) The centre ring of the instrument cluster comes with a orange ring
e) The floor mats too get the orange Lodgy colour and

g) Mechanically, it is the same engine which translates to a 1.5L dCi engine in two variants. One produces a power of 108bhp which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and the other 84bhp is linked to a 5- speed manual transmission.
h) The fuel efficiency is 19.98 km/l and 21.04 km/l based of course on the engine type.

To provide customers with a better ownership experience, Renault has undertaken to provide the 3CARE initiative. This package provides complete maintenance including 3-year warranty (for up to 60,000 kms), road assistance for up to 3 years (or 60,000 kms) and service maintenance at regular intervals (for up to 30,000 kms).
This provision is made available at an additional cost of INR 22,142.
