The Volvo XC60 is expected to get an Indian launch next month as per reports. The second-generation XC60 has already been showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and will now be launching in the Indian market. There will be the Momentum and R-Design trims available for the new XC60 along with the top-end Inscription trim as well.

The Volvo XC60 is expected to get a 9-inch Sensus Connect touch screen infotainment unit complete with a 224-watt audio unit and 10 speakers. There will be luxurious Nappa leather used for the upholstery along with a 12.2 inch driver display. There will be Driftwood décor inlays for a more premium touch inside along with safety features such as Collision Mitigation support and Lane Keeping aid. The car will also get 22-inch five spoke matte black and diamond cut alloy wheels along with T-shaped daytime running lights.
The new XC60 will also come with LED headlamps and tons of other equipment. There will be D5 and D4 AWD trims which will be the diesel versions. There will also be T5 and T6 AWD versions on offer for the new Volvo XC60. A T8 AWD petrol-electric hybrid will also be available globally. However, the Indian version will only be the D5 AWD trim as per reports.
The car stands at 1,902 mm by way of width and is 1,658 mm tall as well. Total length stands at 4, 688 mm. The 2,865 mm wheelbase will ensure ample room inside and there will be the 2.0 litre D4204T23 diesel twin-turbo engine that makes 235 hp and 480 Nm. This engine will be paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission unit complete with all-wheel drive (AWD).
