Jeep India has tasted success in the country with its Compass SUV. The Compass has already sold 20000 units in 8 months since its launch as per reports. The Compass has been attractively priced and this has been possible since more than 65% of its components have been localized. Fiat Chrysler India (FCA) has invested $280 million into its Ranjangaon manufacturing facility for this purpose. The Compass is also being exported from India and the production milestone of 25000 units overall have been achieved as well.

Jeep India is now observing the Jeep 4x4 Month where prospective buyers or those who have booked 4x2 variants can upgrade to the Limited 4x4 variant of the Compass. This can be done by paying only INR 50000 as an extra fee. According to the Managing Director & President, FCA India, Kevin Flynn, this is a unique chance for customers to experience the sheer adventure and other attributes offered by the Jeep Compass. Flynn confirmed that 20, 000 units have been sold in the domestic market already and he added that 6000+ units of the Compass SUV have also been delivered successfully by Jeep India in F1 2018 (calendar year).
The Jeep 4x4 Month will go on from the 4th of April, 2018 to the 30th of April, 2018 as per reports.
