The 2018 facelifted Hyundai Creta has officially launched in the Indian market and is priced from Rs. 9.43 lakhs (ex-showroom) and Rs. 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) onwards for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. There is a brand new dual-tone paint scheme for the facelifted 2018 Hyundai Creta in addition to multiple new features. The new Creta is costlier by Rs. 15, 000 as compared to the previous base petrol variant. The top-end SX (O) petrol version is also costlier by Rs. 57, 000 in comparison to the previous variant. Pricing remains similar for the base diesel variant and the top-end SX (O) is costlier than the previous version by Rs. 44, 000 as per reports.
The 2018 facelifted Hyundai Creta comes with a new orange paint option and there is no SX+ trim anymore. The SX (O) trim is the top-end model for both the 1.6 litre diesel and petrol models while the 1.4 litre petrol is available across the E+ and S trims. The 2018 Creta comes with the glossy A-pillar for its top-end trims along with a dual-tone Passion Orange and Black option. There are dual-tone Marina Blue and Passion Orange options along with a Tangerine Orange interior pack which is optional. There are 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and LED side indicators along with a shark fin antenna and bi-functional projector headlights and positioning lamps. There are new skid plates and bumpers along with a cascading grille and chrome bezel. There are LED side indicators and redesigned tail lights along with a shark fin antenna as well.
The new 2018 facelifted Hyundai Creta gets a smart electric sunroof and six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seats in addition to speed sensing auto door locks, sliding front armrest, smart key band, wireless phone charger, cruise control and height adjustable driver’s seat. There is the 7-inch touch screen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink and Android Auto compatibility. The iBlue Audio Control App is also available as a key feature.
Safety features include dual airbags and ABS as standard while 6 airbags are available for the top-end trims. There is ESC, VSM and Hill Assist Control along with front seatbelt pre-tensioners. The 121 BHP 1.6 litre petrol and 123 BHP 1.6 litre diesel engines are used along with the 1.4 litre 88 BHP engine. The 1.6 litre engines have 6-speed automatic and manual transmission options. A warranty of three years or unlimited kilometres is available for the 2018 facelifted Hyundai Creta in addition to Roadside Assistance. Bookings have already started for the new Creta throughout Hyundai dealerships. Deliveries are slated to commence from the end of this month according to reports.
