The news about the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is doing rounds for quite long time. Suzuki officially took wraps off the new Ertiga at the 2018 Indonesian Motor Show in Jakarta.

2018 Maruti Suzuki Etriga Exterior
The new Ertiga gets a new face with a larger hexagonal chrome grille and slim and wide double projector headlamps. The front bumper is also new with sharp creases and cuts. The side retains the basic silhouette of the earlier car. The third-row glass pane is much larger than the one on the previous gen Ertiga and extends till the end of the C pillar to seamlessly blend with the rear windshield. The rear gets a newly designed and large set of LED tail lamps. The rear windscreen is slightly raked compared to the almost perpendicular execution on the previous gen Ertiga. A chrome strip runs across the rear connecting both the rear lamps. The new Ertiga also get a redesigned bumper.

2018 Maruti Suzuki Etriga Interior:
The new Ertiga also gets a redesigned and larger cabin than the outgoing car. The redesigned dashboard is finished in dual-tone beige and black. The changes include a new flat-bottom steering wheel (the same one spotted in the Swift), new instrument cluster, vertically set AC vents and new 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Indian model Ertiga will also get automatic climate control.
2018 Maruti Suzuki Etriga Engine:
The new Ertiga will get a new 1.5-liter K15B DOHC VVT petrol motor that dispenses a max power of 104 hp and a peak torque of 138 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual tranny or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The DDiS diesel engine with VGT will continue on the new Ertiga.
With the introduction of the Innova Crysta, Toyota substantially increased the price and is out of perch for many customers who are on a tight budget. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a capable and versatile MUV at a much lower price point. We expect the car to be launched during Diwali time this calendar year.
