Maruti Suzuki India has announced its service campaign for inspecting and replacing the brake vacuum hose for its Baleno and Swift models that were produced between the 1st of December 2017 and 16th of March 2018.

52, 686 units recalled for the Swift and Baleno

The campaign, according to Maruti Suzuki, is not a regular recall procedure since there are no possible safety issues for these vehicles. The service campaign will start from the 14th of May 2018 and owners will be contacted by their dealerships for getting the inspection and replacement done free of cost.

Car owners will have to key in the chassis number on the computer screen. This can be found on the vehicle ID plate and also in the registration or invoice papers for the vehicle. The voluntary recall code was introduced in July 2012 and multiple automobile companies are recalling their models for taking care of such defects.
