The German car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz, offers a full range of passenger, light commercial and heavy commercial equipment since 1901. The newest addition to its line-up is the Mercedes Benz A Class L sedan which made its debut at the Beijing Motor Show. The sedan car will be first introduced in China followed by Europe and then it may find its way into the Indian market.
The car will be equipped with turbocharged 1.3-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine which has power configurations of 134bhp and 161bhp and is mated to either a 9-Speed DCT gearbox or a 6-Speed manual transmission.
The car also gets an option of a 2-litre four-cylinder engine that generates 188 bhp of power. The car was spotted test driving last month and has been fitted with numerous new upgrades and high end features like a diamond-studded grille horizontally divided by a single slat, a redesigned front bumper, LED headlamps with eyebrow-like LED daytime running lamps, twin 5 spoke alloy wheels, a pair of LED tail lamps, ORVMs with integrated LED turn signal lights and more. Some of the noteworthy cabin feature includes larger boot space, multi-functional new steering wheel, fully-digital instrument cluster paired with a fully-digital infotainment system, wireless phone charging, signature rotor-like chrome air-con vents, MBUX multimedia system integrated with WeChatMyCar app along with features like -Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice command and navigation system and more.
