Audi India is reportedly planning to launch the eagerly awaited RS6 Performance, one of the highest performing estate models from the brand, on the 14th of March, 2018. The RS6 Performance can touch 100 kmph in only 3.7 seconds and the top speed will be electronically limited to an impressive 305 kmph. This gives an idea about the performance expected from this model which exceeds the RS6 Avant that is already available in the Indian market.

There will be the petrol 4.0-litre V8 engine with twin turbochargers. This engine will dish out 597 BHP and 700 Nm. This could reach 750 Nm with the overboost function of the engine. There will be carbon-ceramic brakes on offer along with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission setup. There will be standard Quattro AWD in tandem with other features like LED headlamps, electric seats, panoramic sunroof and climate control. 21-inch aluminium wheels may be used for the car as well.
There will be no direct rival for this 5-seater wagon/estate in the Indian market. However, relatively underpowered rivals like the Volvo V90 and Mercedes Benz E-Class All-Terrain may pose some competition in India.
